The Supermicro CSE-847E1C-R1K23JBOD is a 4U high-density JBOD (Just a Bunch Of Disks) storage enclosure. It is designed for enterprise-level, heavy-capacity storage applications like cloud backups, data replication, and data warehousing.

  • High-density storage: The chassis supports up to 44x 3.5" hot-swappable SAS/SATA drive bays (24 in the front and 20 in the rear).
  • High-speed connectivity: Features a Single SAS3 (12Gbps) expander backplane, manages all 44 drives through the expander.
  • Dual Redundant 1280W Power Supply — Hot-swappable PSU with 95% efficiency and PMBus 1.2 remote management support ensures continuous, reliable power delivery with zero-downtime replacement capability
  • Hot-swap components: Features hot-swappable, redundant cooling fans (7x 80mm middle fans) and hot-swappable hard drive bays for easy maintenance and zero downtime.
