  • A 1U rackmount security services gateway with 8x SFP/SFP+ ports (1/10GbE) and 2x dedicated high availability ports (1/10GbE).
  • Performance: 40 Gbps firewall throughput with 5 million maximum concurrent sessions and 250,000 connections per second.
  • VPN and Routing: 12.5 Gbps IPsec VPN throughput at IMIX and 19 Gbps at 1400-byte packets, with support for firewall, NAT, IPsec and routing functions.
  • Hardware Platform: 64 GB system memory and 240 GB SSD storage in a 1+1 RAID configuration.
  • Input Requirements: Dual 650W AC hot-swap power supplies, each accepting 100–240V AC, 50–60Hz, in an N+1 redundant configuration.
  • Cooling and Management: Four hot-swap fan trays, a dedicated 1GbE out-of-band management port, an RJ-45 console port, and two USB 2.0 ports for local access.
  • Software: Ships with base Junos OS. Advanced security services require separate subscriptions that do not transfer with resold hardware.
