Job Description

The main responsibilities for this applicant will be creating and editing listings on e-commerce platforms for our web based server hardware store. Those applying to this position should be detail oriented, as they will be in charge of accurately marketing our products to consumers. Although daily tasks will be executed independently, there will be a strong emphasis on collaboration between all product marketing team members.

What you’ll do:

  • Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective vendors
  • Aide the team of Pricing Analysts to ensure inventory levels are optimized. Responsible for the day-to-day management of the inventory
  • Provide analysis of key KPI’s and financial data to identify performance and improvement opportunities
  • Provide direction for the Inventory and Brand Services Analysts and develop their interpersonal, technical, business, and leadership skills
  • Develop an environment that encourages teamwork, open communication, and challenging of the status quo
  • Develop and maintain awesome working relationships with customers, vendors and cross functional departments
  • Analytical: You love data and everything about it, you have a proven track record that you are detailed and strategic
  • Persuasive: You’re an expert at navigating part numbers, deep understanding of parts, and specs.
  • The enthusiasm to learn, the commitment to follow through with tasks, and the dependability to work autonomously.
  • The ability to successfully use information systems across multiple platforms to add, edit, re-price, and track marketed items on all sales channels.

Education | Past Experience | Knowledge

Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years of experience in purchasing/inventory management within a retail/e-commerce company
  • 3+ years of negotiating experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in online retail and pricing strategies
  • A proven track record of driving results and taking ownership, following work guidelines, self-starter with a great work ethic and personal management
  • Experience using MS Excel, MS Word, Adobe and other tools to analyze a business
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; Strong writing skills
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically with good attention to detail

Bonus Experience

  • Knowledge with WASP, QuickBooks, or Inventory Management System
